"What Happens In Vegas" Sweepstakes

Official Rules - No Purchase Necessary to Enter or Win. A Purchase Will Not Improve Your Chances of Winning. Void Where Prohibited.

1. Three ways to enter beginning at 12:01 AM Pacific Time on 8/26/08: (1) Rent or Buy the DVD or Blu-ray release of the motion picture "What Happens In Vegas" at any Hollywood Video, Movie Gallery, or Movie Gallery affiliate store before 11:59:59 PM Pacific Time on 9/23/08, and you will be automatically entered. Your membership and address information on file with Hollywood Video and/or Movie Gallery will be used to contact you in the event you are selected as a winner. It is your responsibility to ensure that this information is accurate. (2) On a 3" x 5" paper, hand print your name, address, city, state, zip code, age, phone number and email address (optional) and mail it to: "What Happens In Vegas" Sweepstakes, P.O. Box 16379, Rochester, NY 14616 to be postmarked by 9/23/08 and received by 10/3/08. (3) To enter online, complete and submit an entry form at the www.hollywoodvideo.com or www.moviegallery.com website. Entry must be filled out completely with name, address, city, state, zip code, age, area code, phone number, and e-mail address. Online entries must include a valid e-mail address. Online entries must be received by 11:59:59 PM Pacific Time on 9/23/08. Limit of one entry per person or household address per day by any method of entry. Mechanically reproduced entries will not be honored. Entries become the sole property of Twentieth Century Fox Home Entertainment LLC. (“Sponsor”) and will not be acknowledged or returned. Any form of entry other than those described herein is void. Sponsor, Planet Hollywood Resort & Casino, Hollywood Entertainment Corporation, Movie Gallery US, LLC, and their respective agents are not responsible for incorrect, lost, late, misdirected, damaged, incomplete, illegible, or postage-due entries. Sponsor, Planet Hollywood Resort & Casino, Hollywood Entertainment Corporation, Movie Gallery US, LLC, Inc. and their respective agents are not responsible for computer system or phone line errors, software/hardware malfunctions, or other errors, failures, or delays in transmission that are human, mechanical or technical in nature, or any combination thereof, including any injury or damage to entrant’s or any other person’s computer related to or resulting from downloading or entering any part of this sweepstakes. Sponsor reserves the right in its sole discretion to cancel or suspend the sweepstakes should a virus, bug, or other cause beyond the control of Sponsor corrupt the administration or proper conduct of the sweepstakes and all entries submitted at the time of cancellation or suspension will be considered in the random drawing. Online entries will be deemed to have been submitted by the Authorized Account Holder of the e-mail address submitted at time of entry. “Authorized Account Holder” is defined as the natural person who is assigned to an e-mail address by an Internet access provider, online service provider, or other organization (such as a business or educational institution) that is responsible for assigning e-mail addresses for the domain associated with the submitted e-mail address. In the event of a dispute over the ownership of an e-mail address, prize will be awarded to the Authorized Account Holder of the designated e-mail address. This sweepstakes shall be governed by California law. By participating in this sweepstakes, entrants agree that California courts shall have jurisdiction over any dispute or litigation arising from or relating to this sweepstakes and that venue shall be only in Los Angeles, California.
2. Sweepstakes is open only to legal residents of the United States and the District of Columbia (excluding Puerto Rico) who are twenty-one (21) years of age or older at the time of entry. Employees of Sponsor, Planet Hollywood Resort & Casino, Hollywood Entertainment Corporation, Movie Gallery US, LLC and their respective parents, affiliates, subsidiaries, dealers, distributors, retailers, advertising and production agencies, The Sweepstakes Center, and their immediate families are not eligible. Anyone who attempts to defraud or in any way tamper with the sweepstakes will be deemed ineligible, and may be prosecuted to the full extent of the law. All federal, state, and local laws and regulations apply. Void outside the United States of America, and where prohibited by law. Odds of winning depend upon the number of entries received. Estimated circulation of offer: 2,200,000.
3. Prize and approximate prize value: One (1) Grand Prize is available, consisting of the following trip for two (2) provided by Planet Hollywood Resort & Casino: Round-trip coach airfare for the Grand Prize winner and his or her travel companion between the major airport nearest to the Grand Prize winner’s residence and Las Vegas, Nevada – approximate retail value (“ARV”) of the air transportation portion of the Grand Prize is $800; Five (5) Days, Four (4) Nights in a Hollywood Hip Room (double occupancy) at the Planet Hollywood Resort & Casino in Las Vegas, Nevada (ARV: $1,000); roundtrip Limo transportation to/from the Las Vegas airport and hotel (ARV: $90), Two (2) tickets to attend a show in the Planet Hollywood Show Room while in Las Vegas (ARV: $200); and One (1) meal for Grand Prize winner and his or her travel companion for each day while in Las Vegas at Spice Market Buffet (ARV: $260) (Total ARV of Grand Prize: $2,350). All expenses not specifically stated as being included are excluded, including but not limited to: additional transportation, incidental expenditures, gratuities, telephone calls and all other expenses and taxes, including any income tax, are not included and are the responsibility of the winner. The Grand Prize winner and his or her travel companion must travel together on the same itinerary and possess all required travel documents, including visas and valid passports, if and as applicable. Airfare may not include government taxes, Passenger Facility Charge or September 11th Security Fee. Airline tickets are non-refundable/non-transferable and are not valid for upgrades and/or frequent flyer miles. Other travel restrictions and blackout dates may apply. All airline tickets are subject to the vagaries of flight variation, work stoppages, and schedule or route changes. ARV for travel prizes may vary depending upon points of departure and destination and fare fluctuations. Planet Hollywood Resort & Casino reserves the right to structure travel route in its sole discretion. The ARV for travel prizes is an estimate made before the Sweepstakes begins. The Grand Prize winner will not receive cash or any other form of compensation if actual travel costs are less than the estimate made in these Official Rules. The round trip air transportation element for any travel prize begins and ends at the point of departure. Travel will be coordinate through Planet Hollywood Resort & Casino. Travel over holidays and other peak travel periods are restricted. Travel is subject to availability at the time of booking, and blackout dates apply and other restrictions may apply. This trip is non-transferable, non-refundable, may not be sold and has no refund value. Airline tickets must be used on the carrier ticketed and cannot be used on any other airline. Planet Hollywood Resort & Casino is to be notified in writing of winners’ names prior to making any reservations. Within 14 days of receipt of winner's name, Planet Hollywood Resort & Casino will notify winner in writing of how to reserve their vacations and flights. The Grand Prize winner and his or her travel companion must both be twenty-one (21) years of age or older in order to redeem the Grand Prize and participate in the Grand Prize activities. All travel must be booked by December 30, 2008 and completed by September 30, 2009 or prize will be forfeited in its entirety.
4. Winner will be selected on or about 10/10/08 in random drawings conducted under the supervision of The Sweepstakes Center, an independent judging agency whose decisions are final. Winner will be notified by mail and may be required to complete an Affidavit of Eligibility and Liability/Publicity Release, which must be returned within 14 days of the date on the notification letter or alternate winners will be selected. Any prize notification letter or prize returned as undeliverable will be awarded to an alternate winner. Trip winner's travel companions will also be required to sign and return a Liability/Publicity Release. No substitution for prizes except as may be necessary due to unavailability, in which case a prize of equal or greater value will be awarded. Prize is not transferable. Taxes are the winner’s responsibility. Prize acceptance constitutes permission (except where prohibited) to use winner’s name and likeness for publicity purposes without additional compensation. Sponsor, Planet Hollywood Resort & Casino, Hollywood Entertainment Corporation, Movie Gallery US, LLC, their respective parents, affiliates and subsidiaries, and their agents are not responsible for any liability associated with the acceptance, use or misuse of a prize. Request must be postmarked by 10/10/08. VT residents may omit return postage.
5. Sponsor is solely responsible for the conduct of this sweepstakes and for the awarding of prizes. By entering, all entrants agree that Sponsor has the sole right to decide all matters and disputes arising from this sweepstakes. By participating, entrants agree to be bound by these Official Rules and that all decisions of Sponsor on all matters relating to this sweepstakes are final. Entrants release Sponsor, Planet Hollywood Resort & Casino, Hollywood Entertainment Corporation, Movie Gallery US, LLC, their respective parents, affiliates and subsidiaries, The Sweepstakes Center, their directors, employees, and agents from any and all claims, liability, loss or damage, including any third party claims, arising from or relating to, in whole or in part, this sweepstakes, including entry and participation in this sweepstakes and acceptance, possession, use or misuse of a prize. All entrants further agree that in the event of any third party claims, damages, losses or injuries, arising from or relating to this sweepstakes, they will defend, indemnify and hold harmless Sponsor, Planet Hollywood Resort & Casino, Hollywood Entertainment Corporation, Movie Gallery US, LLC, The Sweepstakes Center, their respective parents, affiliates and subsidiaries, and each of their respective directors, employees and agents from any and all such claims, including the attorney’s fees related thereto.
